I love mid-week-weddings! Natascha & Jürgen celebrated their intimate civil wedding most perfectly in the mountains at the Winterstellgut in Austria – on a wednesday! Despite the forecast the sun was shining and that just reflected the spirit of that day: so much love, so much fun! I took a personal challenge: I captured the day on film – this time on a 70/30 (film/digital) rate. And to make that challenge complete: I’ve sent the film to a new lab for the first time, and I think they did a wonderful job! What you see here is 100% Film. Enjoy!

Ich habe wirklich Sonnen-Sehnsucht hier und deshalb poste ich heute eine Hochzeit vom letzten Sommer. Nadja & Kurt haben in Neuburg an der Donau geheiratet. Standesamtlich im SCHLOESSCHEN HESSELOHE und gefeiert wurde im ARCO SCHLOESSCHEN. Als ich die Blumendeko sah, wusste ich sofort, dass ERWIN RIEGLER seine Hände im Spiel hatte. Üppig und wundervoll! Zur Abwechslung hatte ich mal mehr als 15 Minuten Zeit für die Portraits und so sind ganz viele Bilder entstanden. Zur Freude der tierlieben Nadja sogar mit Esel & Huhn! Ich möchte gar nicht so viel schreiben, seht selbst…

I’m desperately waiting for the sun here, so I thought I’ll post a summer wedding from last year. I loved everything about Nadja & Kurt’s wedding: The couple, the location and the flowers, oh the flowers. When I saw the floral decoration I immediately knew that ERWIN RIEGLER was in the house. The wedding ceremony was held at SCHLOESSCHEN HESSELOHE, the reception at the ARCO SCHLOESSCHEN, both in Neuburg/Donau. This time I was given more than 15 minutes for the portraits for a change, which made me happy!

Winter wedding in Fuschl

Wie versprochen gibt es heute die Bilder vom großen Tag von Eva & Tim’s Hochzeit. Wie ich bereits im letzten Blogpost angedeutet habe, hat ein ganzes Team an talentierten Hochzeitsdienstleistern hart gearbeitet, um diese Hochzeit auf Schloss Fuschl perfekt zu machen. Doreen Winking hat in langer Vorbereitung ein perfektes Konzept ausgearbeitet und alle Wünsche des Brautpaares wundervoll umgesetzt. Ich glaube nicht, dass eine so umfang- und detailreiche Hochzeit mit so vielen Gästen ohne professionelle Koordination möglich ist. Wenn dann noch das Brautpaar ganz entspannt und glücklich die Hochzeit genießt und auch alle Gäste spürbar mit ganzem Herzen dabei sind, dann ist ein so großes Fest auch für die Dienstleister eine echte Freude.

Meine wunderbare Kollegin Marlén Mieth hat mich fotografisch unterstützt, ein Teil der Bilder in diesem Blogpost sind von ihr. Und schaut unbedingt auf ihrem Blog vorbei, um die Bilder vom Vorabend dieser Hochzeit zu sehen!

Die Suite des Brautpaares war ungelogen doppelt so groß wie meine Wohnung und es war überhaupt kein Problem, sämtliche Brautjungfern für die Vorbereitungen unterzubringen. Die talentierte Amory Uhlmann kümmerte sich um Haare und Make Up mit fantastischem Ergebnis.
Eva und Tim hatten ihre Trauzeugen mit individualisierten Geschenken bedacht. Zum Beispiel gab es für die Mädels ein süßes Armband, ein personalisiertes Taschentuch und einen Kleiderbügel. Für die Jungs wurden eigens Flachmänner hergestellt und bedruckt.

Und Eva’s Kleid war so umwerfend toll! Es ist ein Monique Lhuiller Kleid und sie hat es in USA gekauft – wann werden wohl deutsche Brautgeschäfte so besondere Kleider im Angebot haben?

Heike Krohz von suess-und-salzig hat die wunderbare Hochzeitstorte und die Cupcakes geliefert, dazu gab es bereits einen extra Blogpost hier.

Die traumhafte Gestaltung der Tische war eine perfekte Gemeinschaftsarbeit mit Blumen von Julia Hörl und Papeterie von Sonja Bührke. Sonja hat selbstverständlich auch die Save the Date, Einladung, Kirchenprogramm und vieles mehr an Papeterie rund um diese Hochzeit gestaltet. Sie ist definitiv die Frau fürs Feine und für komplizierte Bastelarbeit! Julia hat den wundervollen Brautstrauß in Winterfarben kreiert. Und ich glaube, ein großer Transporter hat nicht für all die Blumen ausgereicht.

Und um die Party perfekt zu machen, hat die Starmix Band rund um Pat und Julia den Abend gerockt. Die Tanzfläche war bis zum Schluss gefüllt!

Was für ein Tag! Was für eine Nacht! Vielen Dank an Eva & Tim!

As promised, more pictures of Eva & Tim’s wedding day! I mentioned in my previous blogpost, that a whole bunch of talented collegues worked hard to make this wonderful wedding at Schloss Fuschl perfect. Doreen Winking planned and coordinated the whole event in all details! I think such a detailed wedding with around 200 guests is hardly manageable without a professional coordinator. And when the couple is relaxed and in love and all the guests show real sympathy and everybody is having fun – that makes a perfect wedding and a measurable success for all service providers!

The suite for the getting ready was literally twice as big as my family home and it wasn’t a problem at all to have all the bridesmaids there for the getting ready. The very talented Amory Uhlmann provided hair & make up and she did a wonderful job!
Eva and Tim showed their love for their bridesmaids and groomsmen with beautiful and thoughtful little presents. For the girls: bracelets, handkerchief and a personalized hanger, for the boys a personalized flask.

Oh and Eva’s wedding gown was so gorgeous! It’s from Monique Lhuiller and she bought it in the US – I wish german boutiques would offer these excellent wedding gowns!

Heike Krohz | suess-und-salzig did an amazing job, I’m sure you’ve already seen this blogpost about the wedding cake!

The amazing vintage-inspired decoration was simply a master piece and a wonderful example of perfect teamwork. Flowers by Julia Hörl, stunning as always and stationary by Sonja Bührke. Sonja is definitely the woman for extravagant stationary and fine handcraft. She also designed the save the date cards, the invites and simply all stationary related to the wedding.

And to make this evening perfect, the Starmix Band around Pat and Julia did a great job and drew everybody on the dance floor!

Sunny winter wedding

Das große Hochzeitswochenende von Eva & Tim startete meine Saison mit einem Riesenknall. Wirklich alles war einfach fantastisch. Perfekt. Emotional und hat so viel Spaß gemacht! Die Crème de la Créme der Hochzeitsbranche hat zum Gelingen des Fests beigetragen: Doreen Winking, Julia Hörl, Sonja Bührke, Heike Krohz, Marlén Mieth und sogar unsere Bildpoeten-Redakteurin Nicola Friedrich war dabei.

Es startete mit der Standesamtlichen Hochzeit in der Münchner Mandlstraße. Es war ein wundervoller sonniger Januar-Tag. Familie und Freunde waren da und es wurde richtig emotional, als Nini Fabi ein Lied für Eva & Tim sang. Da wurde auch die Rückseite meiner Kamera ganz nass. Nini hatte sogar Überraschungs-Ringe dabei – aus Gitarren-Seiten gemacht!

Der Empfang fand im Bogenhauser Hof statt.

Der folgende Tag war ein Freitag und Familie und Freunde waren zum ‘Get together’ in die Hundsmarktmühle in Thalgau eingeladen. Meine geschätzte Kollegin Marlèn Mieth hat mich an dem Wochenende unterstützt und sie wird bald die Bilder vom Vorabend zeigen.

Hier gibts bald mehr zum großen Tag!

Eva and Tim’s wedding weekend in Fuschl kicked off my wedding season with a bang. Everything was simply fantastic. Perfect. Emotional. And SO. MUCH. FUN. The A-list of the wedding industry was working to make this wedding perfect: Doreen Winking, Julia Hörl, Sonja Bührke, Heike Krohz, Marlén Mieth and even our Bildpoeten editor Nicola Friedrich was there.

It started with the civil wedding in Munich on a beautiful sunny winter day in January. Family and close friends supported Eva and Tim and celebrated their love. It got really emotional when Eva’s sister Nini Fabi sang a song for Eva & Tim. Even the back of my camera got all wet.
Nini even produced special wedding rings – made of guitar strings!

The reception took place in ‘Bogenhauser Hof‘ in Munich.

The following day was a friday and friends & family were invited to a wonderful ‘get together’ in Hundsmarktmühle in Thalgau. My lovely colleague Marlèn Mieth supported me and she will post pictures of the get-together soon!

Winter Wedding in Valentino

Es schneit gerade immer noch in München, daher poste ich noch schnell diese kleine Winter-Hochzeit von Kathrin und Jens. Die beiden haben standesamtlich im November geheiratet. Kathrin trug ein wundervolles Valentino Kleid & Schuhe. Der Empfang fand in der Hochzeitsstube im legendären KÄFER Restaurant statt. Ich freue mich schon auf die große Hochzeit im Sommer!

It’s still snowing in Munich so I don’t feel late posting this little winter wedding. Kathrin & Jens had their civil marriage in munich on a cosy november day. Kathrin bought her gorgeous Valentino dress in Italy and I loved her Valentino shoes! The reception was held at the famous KÄFER restaurant in munich. I am really looking forward to photograph their big wedding in summer.

Jule & Gunnar

Jule & Gunnar haben sich im Spätsommer letzten Jahres getraut. Das ganze Wochenende war total verregnet und kalt, aber der Stimmung tat das keinen Abbruch!

Gunnar hat einen besonderen Ort für den Antrag gewählt: Im Wasserflugzeug über dem Heart Reef in Australien zückte er den Ring. Jule konnte es gar nicht glauben und hat vor Schreck erst dreimal ‘Nein!’ gerufen, bis sie dann doch ‘JA!’ sagte! Um das Ganze noch romantischer zu machen: Die beiden kauften ihre Ringe bei Tiffany’s in New York City – an Silvester!

Da beide leidenschaftlich gerne tauchen, spielt Wasser eine große Rolle und wurde auch in der Hochzeit umgesetzt: Eine Location am See – das Seehotel Leonie am Starnberger See, eine Bootsfahrt zur Kirche und zurück, ein Kleid, das an Wellen erinnert und als Dekofarben Weiß und Türkis. Die Blumen wurden herrlich arrangiert von Petra Müller Blumen.

Jule and Gunnar got married last year in September. It was a cold and rainy weekend but the party was great nevertheless.

Gunnar picked a special place for the proposal: In a seaplane right over the heart shape reef in Australia! Jule was so shocked that she screamed No! No! No! before she finally said YES! To make it even more romantic, they bought their wedding rings at Tiffany’s in NYC – on New Years Eve!

Jule & Gunnar love scuba diving, so they picked ‘water’ as their wedding theme: A location by the lake – Seehotel Leonie at Starnberger See, a boat trip to the church, a gown that reminds of waves and decoration colors white and turquoise. The flowers were beautifully arranged by Petra Müller Blumen.

Ich habe auch wieder einiges analog fotografiert – alles auf der Contax. Aber ich habe einen Schwarz/Weiß Film mit der Hasselblad belichtet. Ich liebe diese Kamera!

I took the opportunity to shoot some more film and used my Contax mostly – but I also shot one roll of Tri-X on my Hasselblad, and I love this camera.
